David Bromberg Band was definitely a great act to catch in the 70's and 80's. I had the pleasure of seeing them many times in that period. As you said, they allwere great musicians with the ability to play multiple instruments. You would hear everything from Irish Fiddle Tunes to Bluegrass, Folk, Country, Acoustic and Electric Blues and almost any other style you can think of. Pair that with Bromberg's stage presence and great wit and the fact that the venues were invariably intimate (from small nightclubs to nice theaters) and you were guaranteed a great concert going experience.
